My name is Arnold L. Walton Jr. I’m a proud U.S. Air Force veteran, a devoted father of eight, and a widower who carries forward both family and tradition with love and purpose. Cooking has been my lifelong passion, and I’ve spent more than 40 years working in the barbecue industry—perfecting flavors, building community, and creating memories around the table.
Together with my late wife, Charlene, I co-owned Charlene’s Little Scholars, a daycare rooted in the belief that every child deserves a home-away-from-home. While raising our family, I also explored my passion for cooking, developing sauces with bold, distinctive flavors. After Charlene’s passing in November 2022, my children and I dedicated ourselves to continuing this work as a way to honor her legacy and strengthen our bond as a family.
